In the course, Pretzel Kids expert teen yoga instructor and curriculum writer Meagan Krasner leads you through several tried-and-true techniques for teaching classes for tweens and teens.
Leading a Pretzel Kids class for kids between 12 and 17 is vastly different than teaching a class for younger children. In this add-on segment, we will review and practice several class options that will keep older children excited about your classes.
As an added bonus, we will work on specific partnering activities that are proven effective in teen classes. This is an invaluable course and we are thrilled to offer it to you for the very first time!
This course comes with a teen class activity plan to help you get started!
We highly recommend purchasing Pretzel Kids Teacher Certification Course, as it INCLUDES this course as well as Yoga for Special Needs and Teaching Tips!
What do you get with Teaching Teen and Tween Yoga:
Since becoming a certified yoga teacher last summer I have been looking for a program that would cover the unique needs of pre-teens and teens who wish to learn yoga. I researched a half a dozen or so programs and decided on Pretzel Kids. I am so glad I did!
From the first video I learned so much and have come away from this program with a better understanding of how to teach a yoga class to children from preschool on up to high school.
I especially appreciate the two additional classes focusing on tweens and teens and children with special needs.
Robyn is a wonderful teacher and she imparts such knowledge of what works. I am proud to be part of the Pretzel Kids community and would recommend this class to any yoga instructor who wants to work with children.

Who Can Take This Course?:
We recommend this for anyone who is familiar with yoga or for existing yoga instructors who want to add to their wheelhouse. Please note: This stand-alone course is not eligible for Pretzel Kids certification. That is only available to those who take the full course.
Robyn Parets is the founder of Pretzel Kids®. She is also a marketing & branding expert, financial writer, and seasoned journalist. She began leading Pretzel Kids yoga certification courses more than 12 years ago under the umbrella of her former Boston yoga studio, Breathe Joy Yoga. Now, her online certification course is exactly the same as the live course -- at a fraction of the cost!
A former writer for Investor's Business Daily (IBD) and NerdWallet, Parets is also a business coach at iFundWomen and advises female entrepreneurs and licensed Pretzel Kids teachers who want to launch their own successful businesses.
Pretzel Kids® was founded as a way to offer a structured yoga play environment for children. In fact, our ground-breaking children's yoga curriculum was written by Parets and two school teachers (also yoga instructors). It is designed to model effective classroom educational programs and make it easy for others to begin teaching kids yoga immediately.
When not teaching and coaching, Robyn likes to travel, meditate, spend time outdoors, read & write, and hang out with her family and dog.
